Stephane Portha can trace his passion for video games long time ago when he first played Pong. Since then, this passion has been at the forefront of everything Stephane Portha has achieved in his career to date including Photos.

In 1980, Stephane Portha developed a game called Tanks which first appeared on the Sharp PC-1211. Soon afterwards, a ZX81 and ZX Spectrum version were released. Also  in 1980-81, Stephane Portha started taking an interest in early versions of the internet. On UUCP (Unix to Unix Copy), he created its first news network linking Usa and France with Satellite Links from Agence France Press and, in 1983, was one of those involved in the launch of France Telecom's Minitel in collaboration with Canal4.

Having launched a gaming network on Minitel, Stephane Portha took his career to the next level in 1989 by creating Eurocenter Games, an online multiplayer gaming marketplace and a provider of gaming solutions for Minitel and Internet.
Whilst overseeing the growth of Eurocenter, Stephane Portha played a significant part in the launching of the World Wide Web in France and helped create Multicable the first European Internet Cable Network, Wanadoo, government websites, football.fr and jeux.fr amongst other achievements.

At the end of the 1990s, Eurocenter Games became a pioneer of online multiplayer gaming when Graalonline, one of the very first MMOs, was launched. Over the next ten years, Stephane Portha led the creation of several popular games such as Ace Tennis, Adrenaline Golf Online, Dinosmash and Poker Online.

Between 2007 and 2015 Eurocenter released a range of games in the App Store. So far over 16 million games have been downloaded. This number includes Graalonline Zone which was the first iOS MMO game.

Stephane Portha, remaining as passionate as ever about gaming and the internet, recently released these games on Android, heralding a new way for fans to enjoy his games.
